DO YOU NEED A MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY?
We’ve prevailed and the major holiday is in the books! The preparation, the event, the clean up…it’s exhilarating and exhausting. Everyone is ready for some well deserved “me time”. All we need now is permission, or the motivation, to allow ourselves to take it.
Our precious homes have done a bang up job hosting the holiday. If walls could talk, they’d probably tell us they need a break too. As always, they will say nothing and keep on taking care of us. There job is to help us regroup and recharge. They seldom let us down. Bravo little house!
WHERE IS YOUR “ME TIME” SPOT IN YOUR HOME?
Let’s take a look at some that are so soothing ….even if they aren’t our own.
Note: All of these photos come from the LBD archives. We thank the photographers, designers and homeowners for previously posting them online somewhere. We saved them out of respect.

Schedule Down Days on Vacation – Lot’s of Them! In a place where your shoulders are actually where they belong and not scrunched up at your neck.
See how important a role our homes have in keeping us balanced. We’ve said it before, these mere pieces of architecture are our anchors. Our havens. These brick and mortars are here to stay. An investment in our homes is an investment in ourselves.
Here’s a look back at how seriously we take “our spots”.
