DISCOVER WHAT’S BEHIND THOSE BIG KENTUCKY DERBY HATS?
We’ve got exactly one week to get our Derby attire ready. Louisville, Kentucky has an extra holiday on its calendar. One more than the rest of the country. The Running of the Roses is no doubt the biggest celebration in the city each year. This is a holiday with a preamble of nearly two weeks before the big day….hat day! Need a little inspiration for both your “derby” and your home for race time? Keep looking!

It was a tradition, used by race promoters, to market the Kentucky Derby to women and make it a see-and-be-seen event.

What fun we had with these pairings of hats and homes! Our obsessions, for both the derbies and the decor, are both classic and fun. We imagine in all the examples above there is one you’d love to own. We know there will be many more we will admire during the broadcast. However, beware, the media seems to show us this particular theme the most often!
