The Energizer Bunny Needs A Nap
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU NEED A MOMENT TO RECHARGE?
Working from two cities, and with clients from all over the country, Kristen and I don’t physically see each other everyday. In fact, we work remotely and virtually more often than not. We have developed a system that works so well for us and, more importantly, our clients.
When we do get together for the real “face time”…we move at warp speed. Our design business is an ongoing circle of exploring new opportunities, planning future projects, implementing current renovations and finally installing furnishings to present our clients with their own “Wow!” moment. We are forever grateful for our clients who are themselves, our inspiration.
Add in working with the other members of our team and you get a power cell. We all feed off each other’s enthusiasm. Motivations grows even more. Sometimes we I get a tad overstimulated.
A lot like our son when he was young. He was our energizer bunny. Most of the time he was pleasant in his endless excitement of exploring life. I needed the “nap” more than he did, especially on the weekends when working parents are 24/7 with our kiddos. We’d compromise when he did not want to nap and agree that he could look at pictures, in bed, for a little quiet time.
The kid is going to be 34 this next week and now I am the one who cherishes the picture trick. Here’s what I decompressed with this morning. I could look at architecture all day long!
All of these photos come from my archives (prehaps the original Pinterest!) and I saved them because they are inspirational. I do not know the sources, only that they have been previously published online. To all the photographers and designers…thank you for sharing. We appreaciate all your exceptional work.
HOW WILL YOU SAVOR YOUR SUNDAY?
Thank you for spending a little bit of your day with us!
