Need Ideas For Adding Color To Your Decor?
Colorful Decor Ideas Are Only A Closet Away
It’s been awhile since we had fun comparing our wardrobes and our decor! With summer coming, we all will get that little itch to add some color all around us. Today, on this beautiful Friday , we’d like to share a project inspired by a few wardrobe Favorites!
Too Much Color Can Close In A Space
The room below looks out onto a beautiful beach, and the color above the natural wood beaded board was a fun seaside color. However, the room is narrow and all the different finishes made it appear even smaller. But it’s in Florida and we wanted it to be colorful in a fresh new way.
Let’s See…Can This Colorful Shirt Inspire An Entire Design?
Before we talk about color, let’s look at the minor structural changes we made. We closed the door on the far left which allowed for a cozy corner with a table and a pair of chairs. Next we removed the door to the right that now leads to the cutest little bunk room we’d love to share in a future post. We added white washed ceiling beams for interest and painted the walls white. Using some existing furniture, our client originally thought would be too large, we added in the fun colors we all crave.

fashion and decor always compliment each other
I especially love the pink tee shirt dress with the tan coat. Those two shades are so very pleasing to the eye.
agree…it’s a soothing and classic combo for both fashion and decor
