We Spy With Our Designer Eye
Each Sunday we’ll share a design that caught our eye and we took some time to savor. Designs that are a little different from the norm, like this one shared by Domino. At first glance all we see is this funky, large wonderful green table. With a closer look, we see all the reasons this interior design works!
Ooooh…Here’s What I Love About This Interior Design!
- an explosion of color in traditional architect is so chic!
- classic, modern x design on the metal legs of the stools at the table
- fabric with a bit of shimmer on these very stools
- abstract large art peeking out behind the large vase of floral with a tropical flair
- surfboard as art!
- not one, or two, but three fluffy hanging light fixtures in such an unexpected location…not centered in the space
- snowy white stairs and moldings showcased with the softest green greige paneled walls
- gleaming wood stair treads just right in all their naked glory
- back to the color…what a combination with the morroccan pattern rug and that green table!
- a batten board door adds to the texture of this design
- trinket and treasure boxes from previous travels allow for last minute at the door conversations
- rich, black lacquered handrail and so many feet of it!
- the owner sitting on one of the stools, looking at her picture books and taking in this happy she has created for her family
