We Spy With Our Designer Eye
Each Sunday we’ll share a design that caught our eye and we took some time to savor. Designs that are a little different from the norm, like this one shared by Khanh Renaud of Legrande Restaurant. It’s hard to pinpoint any one thing that makes us stop and anticipate how wonderful a meal would be here. Let’s take a closer look at all the subtle details that make this design equally enticing.
Ooooh…Here’s What I Love About This Interior Design!
- naked, poured concrete walls are a perfect backdrop
- two toned, creamy with marigold leather dining chairs…if they swivel…spot on!
- oh and that cute little cutout peaking from the armpit of the chair
- shiny modern art on split washed wood pedestals
- traditional, mixed patterns, blue and white plates are unexpected
- wow! can’t get enough of the irregular, semi domed black and white artistic ceiling
- are those baccarat sconces dripping down the walls?!
- what about the addition of a summer swirled, and polka dot, blue water glass with the simple everyday wine glasses?
- a geometric patterned carpet…in a restaurant? yes, nice way to diminish the all too often deafening noise in an eatery
- simple clear glass, low for conversation, candles complete the table setting
- see the smartly dressed gent, and his best gal, at the corner table enjoying a late afternoon lunch?
- or the mother and adult daughter ending a day in the city?
- how about the two couples, one sharing some exciting life changing news with their best friends?

Thinking about your home’s interior design?
First that ceiling….I’m sure I’d get a kink in my neck because I’d be looking at it so much!!
And that wall?? It looks like what we want to use in our entryway!!

Sometimes I can’t even eat as I am too busy soaking in the interior design of a restaurant! Makes me a very good food critic…if I remember it then it must be good!
Heck..I’ve even taken photos of the decor at restaurants I like it so much!!
XOOX
How do you think I have so many?!
I agree, the naked pour concrete is the perfect backdrop!

Love it!
I’ve never seen anything like that ceiling before! And who would have thought exposed walls could be so chic! Lxx
I think the most talented designers are Restaurant designers. Talk about having to please everyone!
That ceiling is oh so amazing! The walls compliment it perfectly! 💞
Almost worth a trip to Paris to “see it” in person!
Very unique!
