We Spy With Our Designer Eye
Each Sunday we’ll share a design that caught our eye and we took some time to savor. Designs that are a little different from the norm, like this one shared by Tom House Property. At first glance all we see is the infusion of red into this bathroom via the large avian art. With a closer look we see such intricate details that make this bathroom’s interior design unique.
Ooooh…Here’s What I Love About This Interior Design!
- soothing muted gray-green walls and ceiling create spaciousness in a small footprint
- harlequin patterned dusty marble squares line the floor
- a single piece trough basin just the right depth to prevent too much splash from the burnished brass wall spigots
- don’t miss the glossy iron basin stand with the knobby feet
- elevated wall commode craftily installed outside an interior wall with the same lovely brass controls and contrasting black seat
- plantation shutters rest easily on the double windowsill
- back to the bird…yes large art works in a small bath. And that red!
- a transitional antiqued chunky mirror is married to a stunning pair of copper creamy sconces on black back plates
- planks line the ceiling and walls to join large soft moldings
- love the hand soap spot…just close enough and so artistic looking
- an English spaniel stretched out on the cool marble floor
- a last-minute mirror check by the guy in the tux heading to a fundraiser he’s passionate about
- the spicy scent we just can’t figure out where it’s coming from

I love how the bath has a Manor feel to it. That basin and tile work is gorgeous!
Oh that is a good description…manor! Thanks for reading as always.
Those marble floor tiles are so classy – lovely photo! Lxx
Yes, you know we have a thing for black and white! We even have a Pinterest Board titled “A Checkered Past…Do you have one?”
This is gorgeous and unique! I LOVE flamingos!
And a red one at that! Have the guts to go big and get all the glory.
That photo is so eye catching, and perfect for such a subtle bathroom. I love how the ceiling is painted the same color!!
XOXO

Yes, painting everything in a room a muted color makes a space look larger while keeping it inviting!
My eye was automatically drawn to the black toilet seat cover oddly enough. I love everything about this bathroom but that. LOL
To each his own right?!
