We Spy With Our Designer Eye
Each Sunday we share a design that caught our eye and we took some time to savor. A design that caught our eye and made us stop and enjoy, like this one shared by hotel vernet paris. At first glance we are instantly drawn into the black and white decor. With a closer look, we see all the well planned details that make this bath a place we never want to leave!
Ooooh…Here’s What I Love About This Interior Design!
- Stunning use of a standard white marble
- 3-4” thick vanity top
- slat wood base in a rich coal finish
- an elevated sink splash is the backdrop for the soft brass, wall mounted basin taps
- more brass in a chunky brass, perhaps heated towel bar
- black penny tile expertly lined for a unique spacing feature on the perimeter of more marble in the floor
- smooth marble vessel bowls serve as the vanity basins
- more marble to the ceiling on the shower and vanity accent walls
- ooooh the black framed arched mirror perfectly reflecting the high end design in the shower
- speaking of the shower, look at the amazing black and white striped tile installation against the marble backdrop
- both a rain and hand held shower, with the controls strategically placed for warm water upon entering
- yes, that is more brass in the nearly frameless shower glass enclosure
- snowy white shower floor accented with yet another dark feature tile at the threshold
- warm sienna wall covering brings in a rich color to the neutral palette
- gotta be a woodsy spice scent in this bathing oasis
- young business executive already dreaming about getting back to this suite after a whirlwind day of inspiring meetings and coffee stops

That striped tile is stunning. Now that’s something I would love.
