Sunlight…Interior Design’s Greatest Gift

sunlight looks good in every

Traditionally, we’ve celebrated the first day of spring on March 21, but astronomers and calendar manufacturers alike now say that the spring season starts one day earlier, March 20, in all time zones in North America.  So if the consensus is for spring to start a day early we are all for it!

Motivational Monday

Window Washing Time

Spring is always a time of renewal.  The cozy blankets, pillows and glowing fireplaces now all seem a bit too heavy for our decor.  We are ready for our interiors to be lighter and brighter.  Time to throw back the sashes and…uck the windows are nasty!

So today, on yet another Motivational Monday, we encourage everyone to start preparing for the start of spring this week.  Give yourself a gift, and get on a professional window washer’s calendar, or start yourself on the inside.  That glorious sunshine Mother Nature is holding back is right around the corner!

  1. That is one of the reasons Denver isn’t so bad even in the winter…we get a LOT of sun!! And the cats love it too. Heck, I’ve been known to sit down with Spookie on the floor in the sun!!
Amazing how the sun can be a decoration almost….

  2. You design girls are so savvy!!
Loved the slide show and music!
    Thanks for the Motivational Monday!

  3. I love the slide show! We have had a long wet, grey winter, sadly no snow but just rainy and grey. I was starting to think I needed a “happy light”. Thank you for the reminded of the window washer, my back windows are terrible. Have a great week ladies.

    1. Nothing like clean windows! We always plan for this after a renovation and its the first thing we ask sellers to do when we stage a home for make. Such a good investment!
