We Spy With Our Designer Eye

Each Sunday we share a design that caught our eye and we took some time to savor.  A design that caught our eye and made us stop and enjoy, like this one shared by atlanta homes and photographer sarah dorio.  At first glance we see this striking, minimal decor.  With a closer look, we notice all the finely executed details tohat make this design absolutely stunning!

Ooooh…Here’s What I Love About This Interior Design!

• floor to ceiling puddling, fabric panels give a softness to otherwise hard services
• warm bleached stair treads twist up and down to each level
• extremely tall base is topped with a double section of cap trim
• oversized travertine stone gently graces the large entry
• a crisp white wall finish so smooth it yearns to be touched
• ah, the elephant in the room…the gleaming grand piano atop a zebra hide
• modern black round spindles give a straight element amidst the curved staircase
• fresh hydrangea at home above the ebonies and ivories
• oooooh…love the glass sphere atop the chunky post with unexpected black paint
• large pane transomed window lets in an abundance of natural daylight
• baubles dripping from the central light fixture so high we cannot see the top
• bring in the brass element with a rather comfy looking bench at the piano
• it’s a given at some point there is a bit of classical music in this space
• however, in the mean time, this is the perfect place for a curly headed little guy to line up all those fire and dump trucks!
