We Spy With Our Designer Eye

Each  Sunday we share a design that caught our eye and we took some time to savor.  A design that caught our eye and made us stop and enjoy, like this one shared by mydomaine.  Quickly we grasp the idea of an evening of alfresco dining coming up.  With a closer look, we have some ah ha moments and start thinking that “yes…we can do this too!”

Ooooh…Here’s What I Love About This Interior Design!

  • a whimsical dining area tucked back in a backyard filled with trees and flowers
  • this setting is almost like a pop up shop experience “alfresco”
  • a subtle red, white and blue tablescape decor to celebrate our Memorial Day
  • indoor, blue upholstered chairs take the lead with complimenting side bench seating
  • nothing says welcome like a mix of sunflowers
  • cloth napkins, and a throw used as a table cloth, make this dinner a bit more elegant
  • another indoor piece, the wood dining table sitting on several colorful vintage rugs
  • mood creating strings of lights provide ambiance and illumination as the sun goes down
  • crisp, summer white wine is certainly chilled and ready to fill the antique goblets
  • layered china plates and silverware add to the intrigue of this lovely table
  • soft hide fur draped across the wood bench adds extra comfort for a lingering dinner
  • what do you think…soft jazz tonight?
  • neighboring nearby guests just itching to kick off the unofficial start date of summer with a night to remember
