We Spy With Our Designer Eye
Each Sunday we share a design that caught our eye. An interior’s design that made us pause, savor and enjoy. Like this one shared by pottery barn. At first we think we are in a chic Paris apartment…then we learn these furnishings are available to all of us!
Ooooh…Here’s What I Love About This Interior Design!
- imperfectly worn wood floors add a warm, inviting foundation
- simple globe lights as much a decor feature during the day as when glowing at night
- a brass bar cart perched between two charcoal traditional wing chairs…how inviting is that!
- seasonal branches in a large clear cylinder vase
- ok, not many of us have this marvelous plaster crown detail, but we can certainly paint our walls and moldings all the same sparkling white
- notice the barely transparent window shade in the left window?
- not to be overlooked, a pier mirror climbs all the way to the ceiling between the pair of soft arched windows
- natural fibre rug layered with a softy for barefeet
- overstuffed, snowy white sofa with velvety pillows
- both a transitional dark spool side table and a modern light counter part
- lots of storage and serving top with this trunk like coffee table
- love the stack of books on the floor…this is where I’d have my ipad resting
- oh my, these doors!
- classical tunes, on a lazy Sunday late morning with thoughts of doing exactly nothing all day

Nice way to cozy up a space.
It looks wonderful and I would be happy if our living room looks like that 🙂

Love a basic black and white decor with character!
