We Spy With Our Designer Eye 9.20.20

Sunday Strolling

Each  Sunday we share a design that caught our eye and we took some time to savor.  A design that caught our eye and made us stop and enjoy, like this one shared by archdigest. Ever want to do something really fabulous with your home’s interior design, but back off for some reason? Why…when it’s so easy to completely fall in love with the results!   Join us today as “We Spy With Our Designer Eye”!

Ooooh…Here’s What We Love About This Interior Design!

  • tile, tile, tile…all in these glorious shades of blues and greens…remind us of all the colors of the sea
  • accents elements of a soft matte black finish with the shower enclosure, lighting fixtures, and top of the mirror frame
  • speaking of the shower enclosure, loving the stationary panel with 5 equal clear glass sections
  • burnished brass plumbing fixtures like the rain shower head and wall-mounted product basket
  • simple, white porcelain undermount oval sink and unobtrusive commode make the tiles all the more striking
  • a dark soap dish nearly disappears on the honed stone vanity surface while housing the hand soap ready to use with a tasseled Turkish towel
  • no need for a towel bar with the open style vanity pedestal cross rail supports
  • back to the tile, look at the floor’s dark tile pattern…so unique
  • did you see the black painted ceiling?
  • even the shower drain is a decorative square design element
  • the elephant in the room…yes that is a window in the shower…yes windows can be properly treated for moisture and glass privacy etched as needed
  • and all that sunlight, well that is Nature at it’s best

Enjoy The Week!

    1. Everyone does…so why don’t more listen to the design world and go for it? Good design is never out of style!
